Start with the basics, and always check your diet with your doctor. In general, you should be eating three times a day, taking in about 12-25 grams of protein in the morning and an additional 12-25 grams throughout the rest of the day. You should be eating both raw and cooked green vegetables and fruit. Your diet should be low in fat. If you are on track so far, your calorie intake should match your size and physical activity; eat more if you are too thin, and less if you are overweight. Your doctor should have charts that will help you find your most natural body weight.
