The ADPA’s website lists the contact information for state chapters and local support groups. Founded in 1960, the ADPA today sponsors 55 information and referral centers, 65 chapters, and more than 800 support groups throughout the United States. The ADPA is also a cofounder of the World Parkinson’s Disease Association (WPDA), whose 20-some member organizations are national Parkinson’s disease associations around the world.
