What is goniometer

A device that can measure the range of motion of a joint, sometimes called an arthrometer. This measurement is useful in assessing neuromuscular status for planning physical THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, and REHABILITATION therapy interventions to improve postural instability and mobility. Such interventions can help the person with Parkinson’s to remain as physically active and independent as possible. See also Electromyography; elEctrophysiogray matter
